The staff in Counseling and Wellness Services hopes you are doing well as we continue to navigate these difficult times! As we all make our way through the second half of the semester, we wanted to share some personnel news.
We first want to express our gratitude to Dr. Kelly Sweener, executive director of Student Development and Wellness, who retired at the beginning of this semester after an incredible 30-plus years of service to Hudson Valley Community College.

Larry Ellis, LMHC, has stepped into the role of interim director of Counseling and Wellness Services. Larry has been with the college for over 24 years, working as a counselor and for the last 14 years, also as the associate director of Counseling and Wellness Services.
